Dr. Francis R. DePaola
His practice is unique for patients in so many ways.
An artist and architect at heart, Dr. DePaola knew that he possessed the innate talent to design and develop smiles that were not only beautiful, but also healthy and comfortable for his patients.
He has taken numerous courses at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), including: Advanced Anterior Aesthetics, Advanced Posterior Aesthetics, Practical Occlusion for the Cosmetic Dentist, Sleep Breathing Disorders, Anatomy and Physiology, Neuromuscular Orthodontics, Sedation Dentistry, and the Master Anterior Aesthetics course. His continuing studies towards his LVIM mastership allow for his delivery of the best dental healthcare for his patients and his work as an oral physician. We are proud to announce that Dr. Frank will receive the prestigious fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry at the convocation ceremony in June 2012. He also will become a fellow (LVIF) of Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in the Fall 2012. There are less than 500 LVI Fellows in the world. It is a testament to his dedication to continuing education.
Dr. DePaola, a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and American Dental Association (ADA), is also a member of the International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics (IACA), the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). Additionally, he is a member of the exclusive International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics, an international society of health care professionals who share a common interest in the advanced diagnosis and treatment of head, neck, and temperomandibular joint pain and dysfuncton.
He is a graduate of NYU College of Dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency through Mt. Sinai Hospital. He came to Hoboken as an associate in an area practice immediately following completion of his dental education, and opened his own private office in March 2000. He has received his laser certification through the WLCI, World Clinical Laser Institute, and the neuromuscular specialist is also Invisalign and ClearCorrect Certified. He also completes Restlylane (Dermal Fillers) therapies and has completed training in 2007 through a NJ State Board of Dentistry accredited program.
Never selfish, Dr. DePaola knows the importance of giving back to his community and in working with others. He works regularly with the University Services Hospital Sleep Center, contributing his time as an expert in sleep apnea.
As a member of the Dental Organization for Sleep Apnea (DOSA), the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADM), and the American Academy of Sleep Apnea, he ensures that he stays on top of the latest technology and research to treat his patients.
